Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026 Effective: 23 July 2026

In short. This is a simple marketing website. It has no accounts, no login, and no contact forms. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across the web. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us — by email, phone or WhatsApp. Below we explain that in full, including the third-party services the site relies on to load fonts, 3D models and video.

1.Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Trio ("Trio", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the Trio website at trio-tech.dev, including the Technical Solutions pages and the Cinema Production page (the "Site"). It also covers the information you share when you contact us through the channels the Site offers.

This policy applies to the Site only. It does not cover any bespoke system we may build or operate for you under a separate engagement — the handling of data in those systems is governed by the written agreement and any data-processing terms for that engagement. It also does not cover third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us directly

The Site does not contain contact forms. Instead, it offers buttons to reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp. If you choose to contact us — for example to book a walkthrough — we receive whatever information you decide to send, which may include:

  • your name and the name of your company or organisation;
  • your contact details, such as email address or phone/WhatsApp number;
  • the content of your message and anything you tell us about your needs, projects or requirements; and
  • any follow-up correspondence between us.

You are in control of what you send. Please avoid including confidential or particularly sensitive information in a first message before we have agreed how it will be handled.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually every website, when your browser loads the Site, our hosting provider and the content-delivery networks that serve fonts, 3D models and video automatically process certain technical data needed to deliver the page and keep it secure. This may include your IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and the date and time of the request, recorded in standard server logs. We use this only for delivering, securing and maintaining the Site.

3.What we don't collect

To be clear about what the Site does not do:

  • there are no user accounts, logins or profiles;
  • there are no contact or lead-capture forms that store your data on the Site;
  • we do not set advertising cookies or use advertising or cross-site tracking pixels;
  • we do not run behavioural analytics or build advertising profiles about you; and
  • we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4.Cookies & similar technologies

The Site itself does not set first-party cookies, and it stores nothing about you in your browser's local storage for tracking purposes. Small amounts of on-device state may be used purely to make the page work and respect your preferences (for example, honouring your system's "reduce motion" setting) — this is not used to identify or track you.

Some third-party content embedded or loaded by the Site — most notably embedded video — may set its own cookies once it loads. Where we embed video from YouTube we use its privacy-enhanced ("no-cookie") mode, which is designed to avoid setting tracking cookies unless you actually play a video. See the next section for the third parties involved.

5.Third-party services

The Site is a static website with no server-side application of our own. To deliver it and its richer features, it relies on the following third-party services. When your browser contacts them, they may process technical data such as your IP address under their own privacy policies:

  • Website hosting (Vercel). Serves the Site and keeps standard access and security logs.
  • Google Fonts. Delivers the Inter and Montserrat typefaces used across the Site.
  • Content-delivery network (unpkg). Loads the 3D-model viewer used on the Triovision section of the Technical Solutions page.
  • YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode), operated by Google. Powers certain embedded videos in the Cinema gallery; loaded only when you choose to play them.
  • WhatsApp / Meta. If you use the WhatsApp "book a walkthrough" button, you are taken to WhatsApp and your message is handled under WhatsApp's and Meta's terms and privacy policy.
  • Your email and telephone providers. If you email or call us, those communications are carried and stored by the relevant providers.

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for how they process data. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

6.How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your enquiries and arrange and deliver walkthroughs or demos;
  • discuss and, where relevant, prepare proposals for a possible engagement;
  • communicate with you about your request and provide the information you ask for;
  • operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

We do not use the information you send us to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not use it for advertising.

7.Our legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on the following:

  • Your consent — when you choose to contact us and share your information.
  • Steps at your request prior to entering a contract — for example, discussing your needs and preparing a proposal.
  • Our legitimate interests — in responding to enquiries, running and securing the Site, and understanding demand for our services, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.

8.Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. With the third parties described in Section 5 that help us host and operate the Site and communicate with you, acting on our behalf or under their own terms.
  • Professional advisers. With advisers such as lawyers or accountants where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety reasons. Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect our rights, safety, property, or those of others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganisation of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality.

9.International transfers

Trio operates from Iraq, and the third-party providers we rely on (such as our hosting provider and the services in Section 5) may process data on servers located in other countries. As a result, your information may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

10.How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, to pursue any resulting discussion or engagement, and to meet our legal, accounting or record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. Server and security logs held by our providers are retained for limited periods according to their own policies.

11.Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information in our care, and we work with reputable providers that maintain their own security practices. Security by design is a principle we apply across our work — including encryption and data minimisation. However, no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use care when sending sensitive information over any channel.

12.Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights over the personal information we hold about you:

  • to access the information we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • to request deletion of your information;
  • to object to or restrict certain processing;
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out; and
  • to request portability of information you provided to us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

13.Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, the services it relies on, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page. Please review it periodically.
